To continue efforts in serving as an inspiration in our communities through tireless efforts that enhance the quality of life via our educational endeavors.

Dollars For Scholars Star Achievers Chapter was founded by Mr. & Mrs. Edmond Dugas and Arbedella Ford in 1993 in memory of the Dugas' daughter, Adrienne and Arbedella's husband, Rev. Henry Ford.  Adrienne was a 12 year old honor student at Faye Ross Junior High School in Artesia and Rev. Ford, pastor of the St. Mark Baptist Church for twenty-two years. 

Star Achievers is an organization devoted to providing scholarships to deserving college bound graduating high school seniors and continuing undergraduate college students.

We offer two scholarships in honor of two very special people; Rev. Henry Ford and Adrienne Ja'Net Dugas.
